 Welcome 

I am Carlie Salt, multiple award winning Nail and Beauty Educator for Shropshire offering fully accredited and insurable courses. I am an active Nail artist and Beauty therapist of over 20 years.

I began my nail journey in 1999 straight from school i went to my local college for 2 years and completed beauty therapy nvq level 2 and 3 before working part time in a salon 25 miles from home. I then fell on the opportunity to rent a beauty room within a sunbed shop in my home town of Shrewsbury, i built a clientele there and then a shop came up and myself and my mum opened Carma Salons which we had for 11 years with up to 12 employees. We distributed for La Femme for a couple of years also supplying nail products to local techs and then after having my daughter and 18 months later my son we decided it was time to downsize to help with family life and so i could concentrate on my love of teaching, so we bought a salon in my local village of Bayston Hill and renamed it after my children Violet James Boutique and sold our larger successful salon. I was then given the opportunity in 2016 to become Gemma Lamberts Nail & Beauty educator for The Nail Team which i put my all into being able to offer my skills and knowledge to the local techs of Shropshire.
From 2020 i decided to offer Beauty training to Shropshire independently bringing you the best courses i know how, all accredited and insurable via ABT along with my role as Senior Nail Educator for Nail & Beauty Excellence bringing you their fantastic accredited Nail training courses to Shropshire.
I am building up a nail supplies shop with products for local techs to make use of, including Nail and Beauty Excellence Acrylic, Acrygel, Hard Gel, Hema Free Gel Polish, Bottled Builder, tools, files, tips etc, BrowStix and Famous Names Ibx.
With my experience in salons and employees i like to help students also with ideas for building their businesses to help them succeed.

I offer Facials, Make up, Lash Lift and Tinting, Brow Design and Define, Henna Brows and Brow Lamination, Waxing, Deluxe Hand Treatments and all of these are accredited insurable qualifications, Cluster Lashes & Pedicure is coming soon.


I am senior educator for Nail and Beauty Excellence and run these outstanding accredited courses in Shropshire for NBE.

2 day Beginners courses (plus home learning classes) in Acrylic and Acrygel both including gel polish, 1 day conversions and refreshers in Acrylic, Acrygel, Hard Gel and Gel polish, Bottled builder, Acrylic skills, Shapes, Acrylic Design, Gel Polish Art, Gellin, 3d Acrylic, E file, and Interlace. One Stroke coming soon.


I also have mini creative classes on Instagram, online workshops on Facebook, or can offer an accredited Develop and Design class as a VIP course to build around your needs of nail skill development & designs of your choice.
